Subject:	48-Hour Call for Consensus (CfC): Publish MAUR as W3C Note

Colleagues:

With a CC to the HTML-A11Y Task Force ...

This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to the Protocols and Formats Working
Group (PFWG) to publish our "Media Accessibility User Requirements
(MAUR)" document as a W3C note.

Background Information

You may recall this document was developed in the HTML-A11Y Task Force's
Media Subteam and was published by the PFWG as a First Public Working
Draft in 2012. Our last public draft, calling for final comments, was
published in August 2014. Several comments have been received as a
result of that publication, all of which are logged together with our
dispositions in a wiki available at:

https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/wiki/MAUR_Comment_Processing_2

Stabilized Note Draft:

The document proposed for publication as a W3C note can be found at ...
The document to review for this CfC is:

https://rawgit.com/w3c/pfwg/WD-media-accessibility-reqs-20151009/media-accessibility-reqs/index.html

ACTION TO TAKE

According to agreed PFWG Consensus Procedures, this CfC is now open for
objection, comment, as well as statements of support via email. Silence
will be interpreted as support, though messages of support are certainly
welcome. Comments are also welcome from HTML-A11Y Task Force members who
are not PFWG members.

If you object to this proposed action, or have comments concerning this
proposal, please respond by replying on list to this message no later
than 23:59 (Midnight) Boston Time, Thursday 15 October.
