Colleagues: the PF_WG has scheduled it's first session on Friday morning, 30 October, to discuss CSS accessibility concerns. We would very much appreciate the help of a few CSS-WG regulars to help guide us. Our very particular concern is the ongoing lack of adequate accessibility support for navigation/reading order in CSS specifications such as flexbox and grids. We note the new round display adds yet another specification where navigation/reading order is an accessibility problem. We desperately need to come to a resolution with CSS on this long standing issue. We're aware that CSS is meeting early in the TPAC week. However, if you can, please consider joining us Friday 30 October at 9:00 AM for 60-90 minutes to discuss possible resolutions. We would very much appreciate your help getting us to a resolution that works for both our groups. If you plan to join us, an email saying so will help us save you a seat at our table! As with so many groups at TPAC this year, we expect to be well attended. Thank you in advance for your consideration, Janina PFWG Chair -- Janina Sajka, Phone: +1.443.300.2200 sip:janina@asterisk.rednote.net Email: janina@rednote.net Linux Foundation Fellow Executive Chair, Accessibility Workgroup: http://a11y.org The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Chair, Protocols & Formats http://www.w3.org/wai/pf Indie UI http://www.w3.org/WAI/IndieUI/
