- Heads Up Items:

 - I want to discuss Issue 690 (aria-describedat) AFTER the January 15,
ARIA Caucus call. We need to have George Kerscher on the call and the other
browser vendors. We also need to resolve the meeting time issue.
Unfortunately, given the tremendous amount of email regarding
aria-describedat it will likely consume an entire call. I want the browser
vendors to hear all sides of this before we come to a decision. Looking at
the list I have not seen the people who asked for the feature weigh in at
all.
 - We want to publish and SVG2 and HTML5 AAPI first Public Working Drafts
in February

(Cynthia)  - The discussion is important for the User agent Implementation
Guide as well

Discussion in AAPI meetings: Have a role of section in accessibility API
mappings: where map presentational list items to SECTION (or panel
ATK/ATSPI) the same as a DIV. Stop using group roles used for real semantic
groups. This would also effect MAC. This would also mean when we have a
section element in HTML5 that would map to a section platform accessibility
API role if no label is provided. Otherwise it would take a role of region.
We may consider making the section role concrete. We need consistency.
