Hi Alex,
right we had discussed this at the time when hixie was still editing the
w3c html spec and wanted to specify that.

so out of the roles the ones that look bogus to me are:

table element     grid role
td element     gridcell role
th element     gridcell role

also the author restrictions on all of them need to be reveiewed
