Based upon what you have provided here, and fully acknowledging I am out of my environment, your logic case leads me to agree with your conclusion, and so FWIW I agree with "A"... except, I have a question. What would the user-experience be for something like this: <$ELEMENT role="text"><img src="foobar.png" alt="foobar"></$ELEMENT> (where $ELEMENT could be one of <p>, <li>, <td>, etc.)? Is there an inheritance issue? Note, if I am off in the weeds, then please disregard me - although I would ask Joanie (please) if you could respond off-list, as I am truly curious and don't honestly know. (Thanks) Cheers! JF
