Subject: 48-Hour Call for Consensus (CfC); Revised HTML-A11Y TF Work Statement and Decision Procedures

Colleagues:

This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to adopt a revised Work Statement and
a revised Decision Procedure for the HTML-A11Y Task Force.

PF raised objections to a previous revision of a proposed Work Statement
and Decision Procedures for the HTML-A11Y Task Force. Our objection is
documented at:

https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/44061/ProposedLongdescCommentResponses/

The HTML-A11Y Task Force has revised these documents and believes they
now adequately addressed the concerns we raised. The TF has
achieved consensus on these revisions as documented at:

Work Statement: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2013Oct/0051.html
Decision Procedures:	http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-a11y/2013Oct/0048.html

Please review the following two revised documents and reply with any objections or
concerns:

Work Statement: http://www.w3.org/2013/10/07-html-a11y-tf-workstatement.html
Decision Procedures:	http://www.w3.org/2013/10/07-consensus-procedures.html

Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive
responses are encouraged. We will also consider these revisions during
our regular weekly teleconference on Wednesday 23 October. If there are
no objections by 1:00 PM Boston Time Wednesday 23 October, this
resolution will carry.

Please note the above deadline for this CfC corresponds to the usual
ending time of the regular weekly PFWG teleconference.

As per the HTML-WG's "plan 2014," since the Task Force is jointly
owned by the HTML WG and the PFWG, a HTML-WG CfC will follow this CfC in
the event that PF approves these documents.
