Document: Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) 1.0 Candidate Recommendation 18 January 2011 Part: 6.2.4. Value (propcharacteristic_value) The spec doesn't say what the syntax for "Any real numerical value" is. As a result, it's impossible to determine, which of these would be valid: 1.0 1. .3 0.3 +1 1 -1 -1.0 .0e7 2.0e+7 Proposal: I propose resolving this by defining "number" by reference to http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/common-microsyntaxes.html#valid-floating-point-number
