On the call now we discussed putting out a new working draft of module one and the explainer. We can also change the editors draft to the other modules to reflect the data- We adding an editors note that explains what we are doing with data- and what elements have consensus. I would like to suggest the following wording for the editors note: The working group has changed the prefix for implementation examples to be compatible with html 5, using the development mechanism provided by HTML for this purposes. See https://www.w3.org/TR/2011/WD-html5-20110525/elements.html#embedding-custom-non-visible-data-with-the-data-attributes. Also, note that the implementation examples for data-purpose, data-action and data-destination have consensus from the task force. Other implementation examples are still under discussion and changes may occur. Please let me know if there are any objections to the editors note or the working draft.
