Dear Web Payments Working Group, The co-Chairs and I continue to discuss face-to-face meeting plans in light of COVID-19 concerns. Some conferences are currently going ahead as planned (e.g., the IETF meeting in Vancouver [1] starting 21 March), while others have been canceled. At the current time we are watching several signals: * Travel advisories from agencies such as the CDC in the US. As of right now the CDC has no recommendations regarding Ireland [2]. * Whether our host can still host the meeting. As of yesterday morning, the answer was still “yes." * Whether people are able to attend. Right now we still have a large number of people who are registered for the meeting (~40) but a number of people can no longer attend (~10). We would very much like to hear from you, especially if you already know you can no longer attend the meeting. If we end up postponing the face-to-face meeting, we would like to consider an alternative meeting approach that week. I anticipate we will discuss all of this at our 5 March teleconference [3].
