Regarding the "Card Payment Security Task Force"

For the record only.

https://github.com/w3c/src/wiki/FPWD-plan

"In the charter, we estimate that the first public working draft (FPWD)
of this specification will be published in March 2020"

As a non-member I (FWIW...) don't agree with this mission:

- The name "Card Payment Security Task Force" is misnomer [*], it is rather "SRC Task Force".
- SRC is only an application that like any other application utilizes platform APIs. W3C has to my knowledge not previously engaged in endorsing or developing specific applications. It seems to me that it is up to EMVCo and their members to cater for SRC. If they during this work come to the conclusion that there is something "missing" in the Web platform, they could interact with the W3C which in turn could evaluate their findings and look for a [possibly generic] solution alternatively dismiss the request.

Thanx,
Anders Rundgren

*] There are BTW literally hundreds of already deployed systems offering secure on-line card payments including Apple and Google Pay.
