Dear Card Payment Security Task Force participants,

Minutes from today’s call:
 https://www.w3.org/2019/10/02-wpwg-minutes

Rouslan showed a demo of “instrument level display in the sheet.” The demo did not involve any changes
to the Chrome implementation or Payment Handler API. It amounts to showing “one instrument per handler”.
When one has multiple instruments, one can create multiple handlers and share common code.

However, we did have some questions related to this approach that we will continue to discuss, including:

 * What would the user experience be like if the user adds new cards to SRC and needs to have new payment handlers installed?
 * How would an “Add card” functionality be implemented?
 * How would one bootstrap the ecosystem (e.g., via a default payment handler)

Thanks, Rouslan, for sharing the demo!

Next call: 16 October

Ian
