Zach – thanks for the update. I personally am pretty hesitant about the rate-limiting stuff – there are lots of reasons why a shopper might go through a merchant’s payment experience more than once in a 30 minute period. But I’m sure we can discuss on the call tomorrow.

Speak then
Nick

Hi all -

I haven't had a chance to talk with Mahesh yet, as he's in the middle of moving. But I have talked to both Adrian Bateman as well as Jason and Andre from Shopify.

I've updated my proposal [1] a bit, clarifying two things:

* The method can only be called once every 30-minute window per top-level origin
* Promise resolves with either a true or false, instead of false throwing an error

I'm feeling pretty good that this is the right compromise between privacy and merchant needs. Looking forward to discussing a bit more on the call tomorrow.

Thanks,

Zach

Hello everyone

A reminder that our weekly call tomorrow is one hour earlier than normal for Europeans due to daylight saving.

So the meeting is at 3pm UTC/GMT which is 11am EDT/10am CDT/8am PDT in the US.

Mike, Adrian and I are working on the dial in details of the call tomorrow – Ian’s usual call details will not be available as Ian will be somewhere over the Pacific Ocean.

I will send through details of the call log in as soon as I am able.

In the meantime, our draft agenda is here: https://github.com/w3c/webpayments/wiki/Agenda-20161103

As usual, please feel free to contact the chairs or amend the agenda on the wiki

Looking forward to speaking to you all tomorrow
Nick
