Zach – thanks for the update. I personally am pretty hesitant about the rate-limiting stuff – there are lots of reasons why a shopper might go through a merchant’s payment experience more than once in a 30 minute period. But I’m sure we can discuss on the call tomorrow. But I have talked to both Adrian Bateman as well as Jason and Andre from Shopify. I've updated my proposal [1] a bit, clarifying two things: * The method can only be called once every 30-minute window per top-level origin * Promise resolves with either a true or false, instead of false throwing an error I'm feeling pretty good that this is the right compromise between privacy and merchant needs.
