@burdges people do this now and don't seem too bothered by it. It is how all of these payment apps work. In a push payment world, the user agent would just be a conduit that relayed information, but I would still want my payment app (e.g., paypal) to have the final say about shipping address, source of funds, etc. Then paypal (as a push payer in the future) would send a token to the merchant / merchant's payment processor to send the funds, and complete the Promise in the browser environment saying "payment complete" with a transaction token. --- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/w3c/webpayments/issues/112#issuecomment-194502248
