While I have heard that the ability to use N > 1 payment method for a given transaction is an important use case, it is not clear whether we should prioritize addressing it at the protocol layer. (It may be possible for a payment app to offer this service out of band.) Are you thinking that N instruments for a transaction should be part of the WG's API?
