The mission of the Private Advertising Technology Working Group, motivated by the W3C TAG Ethical Web Principles, is to specify web features and APIs that support advertising while acting in the interests of users, in particular providing strong privacy assurances using predominantly technical means. Please use the following form to have your organization join the group. The form will also instruct you how to nominate participants: https://www.w3.org/groups/wg/pat/join Please consider diversity when proposing people to participate in W3C groups. Representation from a wider group of people, especially people from under-represented groups, is vital for creating web standards that meet the needs of the wider web community. The group plans to have its first major virtual meeting later this month. The group chairs are Aram Zucker-Scharff (Washington Post) and Sean Turner (Invited Expert). The Team Contact is Tara Whalen, <tara@w3.org>, for a total of 0.25 FTE.
