## Agenda+: AdTech Feedback for a Proposed NIST Differential Privacy Deployment Registry

A collaboration spanning Mozilla, OpenDP and other researchers together with NIST has proposed a registry of DP deployments in industry. The goal of this project is to fill a need in the community of privacy practitioners for a trustworthy, collaborative shared database of differentially private deployments, to help foster norms about best practices. We propose a shared governance resource to (1) help industry grow to consensus on best practices, (2) provide public snapshots of the privacy landscape so that regulators can judge new deployments in context and shape guidance accordingly, and (3) incentivize industry to make their choices public.

The proposal is outlined in a NIST White Paper along with a prototype of the interface to this registry that would also be hosted at NIST. The Paper is under a comment period that closes November 14.

The goal of this discussion is to seek out any comments from the working group that would help the Registry better describe AdTech systems and be of better service to AdTech practioners.
