> Having read meeting notes and also scribed them, it can be challenging to accurately capture the discussion. It also more-or-less precludes participation for the scribe due to the need to stay focused on scribing (yes, you can switch scribes to ask a question, but it requires coordination). > > Would it be possible to capture an audio-only recording for the purpose of transcription after-the-fact? +1 from the point of view of someone who ever tried to be a scribe. Couple of other options: a. organizer and/or a scribe only have access to voice recording for a limited time (1 week?) and confirm deletion (snapshot?) after the notes are cleaned up. b. Use auto-transcribe feature only, without recording. With acronyms and accents it is rarely great but better than nothing and leaves room for "plausible deniability" for the lack of better term. -- GitHub Notification of comment by stumakha Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/patcg/meetings/issues/10#issuecomment-1016784387 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
