P3P Specification Call 28 Jan 2004 Present: Brooks Dobbs Giles Hogben Jeff Edelen Lorrie Cranor Rigo Wenning Jack Humphrey Dave Stampley 1/ What can be finished until 13 Feb should be ready and in by then. Other things will be dropped. 2/ TF Reports a/ Giles Art. 10 ACTION Giles: Send draft to the WG and we'll discuss it for agreement on the next call b/ Giles XML Schema Still trouble with the files. Need to make a comprehensive package. More trouble with XML Schema. Giles said we can't define base data schema ACTION Rigo Giles: Take that offline and figure out how to fit it into the spec. Get feedback from Massimo c/ consent choices Draft is mainly done. We will put this out and look for public feedback. d/ compact policies. Nothing done so far as performance feedback (first milestone) never happened. We were considering removing compact stuff completly. Performance question. More discussion on whether we should deprecate compact format. ACTION: All think about benefit and tradeoffs and we'll make a decision on the next call. e/ domain relationsships Got stuck a bit in the discussion about what this means for ad networks. Not sure how this can be addressed in the Spec. Not enough attention over the last couple of month. Lorrie asked if this is worthwhile pursuing. Discussed what we initially wanted. Jack: Action: Get together with Rigo to figure out how to get basic mechanism into form. Guidelines for Relationships. 3/ Next meeting 4 Feb starting !!!10amEST!!! for 2 hours Action: Lorrie get information from W3C whether sufficient slots are available on the W3C Bridge and get Bridge configured.
