Hi Jie! A while ago, in your review of the RDF-Based Semantics you proposed adding a diagram to the document's introduction, to visualize the relationships that hold between the different parts of the OWL 2 Full universe [1]. There is an EdNote in the working draft since that time. At the weekend, I tried to create a sketch of the diagram, and found a problem: There are a lot of pretty different ways to draw these relationships. For example, the sets of data properties and annotation properties may be disjoint, or may overlap, or the one can be subsumed be the other, respectively. And when the other "basic sets" are also taken into account, a lot of different (and meaningful) combinations exist. The idea was that the diagram should at least show the "general situation". But there is not really such a "most general" situation. My main concern is that this diagram would become the de-facto reference diagram to show the parts of the OWL 2 Full universe, since it would be part of the spec. The configuration we would eventually settle on would then be what many people would believe is "generally the case"... but it would actually be "generally wrong". :( So I would rather opt to not add such a diagram to the document. Note: The diagrams in the RDF Semantics spec do not have this problem. They show /concrete examples/ of interpretations.
