In (1) it says an annotation property cannot have a class as a value; in (2) it says it can. Could someone please clarify this? (1) http://www.w3.org/TR/owl-ref/ "OWL DL allows annotations on classes, properties, individuals and ontology headers, but only under the following conditions: * ... * ... * The object of an annotation property must be either a data literal, a URI reference, or an individual." (2) http://www.w3.org/TR/swbp-classes-as-values/ "Note that rdfs:seeAlso is an annotation property and hence giving it a value that is a class does not take us out of OWL DL." Thanks, David
