I see Component Designators just went to last call http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/WD-xmlschema-ref-20081117/ among the use cases are: "Describing XSD Components within RDF, including the use of XSD simple types as RDF classes." Is this working out? Is OWL able to use XSD types by reference using component designators? I can't confirm from a quick check of a relevant section the OWL spec http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/WD-owl2-syntax-20081008/#Datatype_Maps -- Dan Connolly, W3C http://www.w3.org/People/Connolly/ gpg D3C2 887B 0F92 6005 C541 0875 0F91 96DE 6E52 C29E
