The ORTC CG mailing list has been quiet for a while, but there is now some exciting news! For those of you that would like to have a chance to experiment with QUIC within an ORTC framework (no SDP), there is now an opportunity to do so! Information on the Chrome QUIC API origin trial is available here: https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2019/01/rtcquictransport-api There are a few limitations to be aware of: 1. The APIs and protocols implemented in the trial lag behind the specifications, so please consult the trial documentation. 2. The trial is available only on Chrome. QUIC Specification Update The ORTC CG continues work on development of a P2P API for QUIC: https://w3c.github.io/webrtc-quic/ In addition, work on a client/server API for QUIC has been proposed (potentially to be developed further in WICG): https://w3c.github.io/webrtc-quic/cs.html Finally, work on an ICE extension continues in the WEBRTC WG: https://w3c.github.io/webrtc-ice/
