Hi All, The consortium is seeking feedback on a plan for the standardization of HTML.NG. The draft plan is <http://w3c.github.io/charter-html/html-plan.html> and issues filed against the plan are in <https://github.com/w3c/charter-html/issues>. The plan doesn't include a mail list for comments so I don't know if Github issues are the sole public means for providing feedback. Philippe - would you please clarify? Regardless, if you have comments, please submit them and please forward this e-mail to other that might have feedback on this important topic. -Thanks, ArtB -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Update on HTML plan next steps Resent-Date: Mon, 11 May 2015 19:40:59 +0000 Resent-From: public-html-admin@w3.org Date: Mon, 11 May 2015 15:40:57 -0400 From: Philippe Le Hegaret <plh@w3.org> To: public-html-admin@w3.org <public-html-admin@w3.org> CC: public-html-media@w3.org <public-html-media@w3.org>, HTML Accessibility Task Force <public-html-a11y@w3.org> I presented last week to the W3C Advisory Committee about the status of the HTML plan. The slides of those presentations are available at: http://www.w3.org/2015/Talks/0506-html/ and http://www.w3.org/2015/Talks/0507-groups/ In terms of next steps, note slide 13 in http://www.w3.org/2015/Talks/0506-html/?full#13 At this point, I do not believe we will have a fully developed plan before the Charter expires and we're looking at a transition period (hopefully 6 months). We're exploring the idea on [1] and I expect it will take time to put it in place and think about all the implications.
