AthTech Data Conference Online Session 22nd October AM - SAVE THE DATE

Dear all,

The AthTech Data Conference is an European Athletics Educational Event, taking place every second year. We thank you for your participation to the 2023 edition<https://athtech.run/2023/agenda>. Meanwhile, as we wish to provide momentum to the community meeting every 2 years, we are organising an online follow-up session.

We are proposing to have this session on 22nd October in the morning, from 10:00 to 12:00 (timings to be updated according to the number of speakers).
In the principle as the physical Data Conference, we are giving the chance to participants (Member Federations, vendors, service providers…) to speak about their latest developments, their recurring issues/pain points or on their recent findings. The goal is to share and find synergies within our community. If you wish to participate as a speaker, please contact me before 10th October. The presentations will be limited to 10 minutes, due to the limited time and the fact that it is an online version of the conference.

  *   World Athletics Technology development in 2024
  *   World Athletics calendar and results API for MFs and service providers
  *   OpenTrack: capturing historic results
  *   W3C: how to complete a full standardisation process. Use cases of success stories
We wanted to save the date now, and we will share the link to the online call one week ahead of the online event.

PS: we haven’t finalised the award of the 2025 organiser, so please come back to us if you have an interest in organising the 2025 AthTech Data Conference.
