AthTech Data Conference 2023 in Malta - Registration

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are delighted to announce the venue and the agenda of the 5th AthTech Data Conference.
We will be welcoming you on 21st and 22nd September at the Salini Resort<https://saliniresort.com/>. Arrivals will be on 20th September, to attend the start of the conference on Thursday morning.

Accommodation and transport
European Athletics will cover the full board accommodation for 1 Member federation representative for 2 nights, the return flight and the transfers.
For the self payers (service providers, vendors, etc…), if you are staying at Salini Resort, European Athletics will offer you the 2 lunches (on 21st and 22nd). If you provide your travel details before 10th September, we will be able to organise a return transfer (from/ to the airport).
Finally, our hosts, the Maltese federation, will take us for dinner on Thursday 21st in town, to discover the beautiful island of Malta.

Agenda and content
Regarding the content, since the 1st edition in 2016, the AthTech speakers are composed of professionals presenting their technology and latest developments, mixed with representatives from federations showing the challenges, as well as their advices for other Member Federations. Therefore, we welcome and encourage AthTech participants to speak and share their experience in athletics, but not only… For instance, at the last AthTech, we had insightful presentations on NFTs, applied in sport, as well as in the art. So please inform us if you wish to actively take part in any session below.
World Athletics will also be with us, to give us the latest development at the World level and follow the topic of data interface started 2 years ago.
European Athletics’ long-standing partner EBU will be with us to showcase their projects and innovations.
