AthTech conference - REGISTRATION OPEN

Hi all,

As the conference is approaching, we remind you that you can now register for the conference at http://athtech.run/register


The main news for us is that the IAAF will attend the conference and that the IAAF CIO An Dang Duy will give the keynote presentation about the IAAF digital strategy, so our initiative is now really global.

Regarding the presentations, we still have some available spots if some of you want to present their system/solution/latest project etc... Depending on the interest, we will adapt and confirm the exact agenda in the next couple of weeks.

Regarding the logistics, we have pre-booked rooms at the hotel where we are hosting the conference (Hotel ABBA Playa http://athtech.run/venue), so please book the hotel through the registration platform (http://athtech.run/register), via the available packages.
Please note that meals are included in the 2-day and 3-day packages.
For federations, please European Athletics is not covering the expenses.

Subject: 3rd AthTech conference - 9-10 October 2019

Hello,

After two successful years, the 3rd AthTech conference is back and will take place in Gijón, Spain. The event is hosted by European Athletics with the collaboration of CTIC, W3C Spain and Opentrack, and will take place on the 9 and 10 October. During these two days, we will meet to speak about data in Athletics, statistics, performances and innovation.

Last year's event saw over 40 delegates from 15 different countries, including many national federations, top timing providers such as TimeTronics and Swiss Timing, several local event management companies, and amateur volunteers bringing their IT skills to the benefit of the sport.
We've made huge strides since then in practical collaboration and interoperability.
