Hi all, It's time for our teleconference. Feel free to suggest topics to add to the agenda. Meeting: Wed 28 March, 08:00 UTC (See locations <https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meetingdetails.html?year=2018&month=3&day=28&hour=8&min=0&sec=0&p1=4005&p2=136&p3=242&p4=87> ) Join the meeting at https://meet.jit.si/opentrack ## Agenda: * Competition Calendar I've been working on the taxonomies to describe competitions. But this time, without the semantic part, just focused on the final values and identifiers, so we can start playing with some examples. In the following spreadsheet, you can find most of the taxonomies we need for representing a competition in a calendar. In the first tab, you can find the official IAAF disciplines with a proposal of identifiers (based on the official ones). Also a proposal of categories and others. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OxjfZ4AkE8RTZc2mgBXLJhwdLD3pcwAC2V51hiHT_cU/edit?usp=sharing Really, I don't care too much about the final codes, but I know this is important for the design of our DBs, so feel free to comment/suggest/edit the spreadsheet directly with your proposals. Apart from this, Johannes Rosenmoeller is interested in representing tracks. This topic was left apart but it is related to Andy's proposal. So I think we can take it again. Correct me but I think we don't have any document with a model of that. In 2016, I got information about hundreds of Spanish stadiums with all the information I could grab –find attached the self-explanatory JSON file. He cannot join the call tomorrow but he is subscribed to this list. Let me know if you cannot make the call. Best, Martin
