Hi all, I've been drafting an early approach of the conceptual model [1] that will serve to build the OpenTrack vocabulary. I've gathered requirements to define a common (abstract) model in order to describe: - Competitions / Events - Competitors (Athletes / Teams) - Starting Lists and Results - Venues These entities (and others) are described by definitions, examples and attributes. Some attributes need enumerations and taxonomies (e.g., gender, disciplines) more than free text. These taxonomies are also included in the document. @Andy, I've checked this abstract model with athlib [2] and both models are almost aligned. This one [1] is more abstract than the examples in athlib, and takes into account a broader scope (for instance, relay events where competitors are teams). Please, have into account that this document does not include final schemas and codes. If you want to have a look at the model, feel free to comment/change anything. I've raised some issues [3] about this document so we can start discussing technical things (better on Github to track contributions). Just a reminder for you to tell me your availability for the first call of the group [4]. Thanks in advance.
