Safeguarding activities work stream.

Hi guys,

Myself and a few other members of the W3C Community are looking at creating
a new workstream regarding the safeguarding of activities published as open
data.

Problem: There is no way of safeguarding activities being published as open
data through tools such as Open Sessions (mainly individual or small
providers). These types of activities are really important to creating a
diverse selection of opportunities for the end users trying to become
active. A great incentive in encouraging smaller providers to list their
activities openly is the exposure that they could receive through well
funded campaigns such as Change4Life. Without an accreditation process
(either centralised or decentralised), these campaigns are not comfortable
displaying activities that they are not sure has come from a trusted
organisation and therefore are not being made available to their end users.

Any ideas or anyone interested in joining would be welcome
