Hi all, We are pleased to announce that the OpenActive Open Booking 1.0 Candidate Release <https://www.openactive.io/open-booking-api/> has passed its formal review period, and we are now confident in the scope and function of the spec, and that the specification is stable enough to begin implementation. Please see additional notes below. Please find the published version here: - https://www.openactive.io/open-booking-api/ The specification will remain in a "Candidate Release" status for the first few implementations, to allow for any required clarifications and minor technical improvements to the specification that emerge to be included. Next, we are planning to build the following tooling to help implementors: - A .NET library (based on OpenActive.NET <https://www.nuget.org/packages/OpenActive.NET/>) - An simple .NET example implementation ("reference implementation") - A validator (similar to the existing validator <http://validator.openactive.io> but with expanded rule coverage for the booking specification) - A test harness (to allow you to run integration tests as part of your CI pipeline) If you are scheduling an implementation of the booking specification, please get in touch with us so that we can work together to ensure that these tools work for you. Many thanks, Nick -- *Additional Release Notes* A list of amendments made during the review period are below: - Improved representation of taxMode to remove property duplication - Corrections of minor technical inaccuracies - Spelling and grammar changes -- Nick Evans Associate & Sector Specialist Open Data Institute <http://theodi.org/> | +447813318661
