Hi all, Thank you so much for your time last week for those of you who could attend the OpenActive Booking Finalisation Workshop. If you or your colleagues missed any part of the day, you can find a full recording available at this link, along with a summary of the consequent changes being made to the spec: https://w3c.openactive.io/meetings/2019-04-02-booking-finalisation-workshop If you would be like to be involved with the ongoing OpenActive standards process, please do sign up to join the OpenActive W3C Community Group <https://www.w3.org/community/openactive/>. The next meeting is tomorrow at 2pm <https://w3c.openactive.io/meeting-calendar> if you are interested in attending - we will be covering changes made to the spec and any final issues arising. Please note that you do not need to be highly technical to attend. If you are interested in the next steps of the discussion we had at the end of the day regarding Attendee Details Capture (a.k.a. "date of birth"), please see this GitHub issue <https://github.com/openactive/open-booking-api/issues/107>. We are actively seeking feedback on this issue - as you can see it is fairly complex. We propose not to delay the release of the current version of the specification to wait for consensus on the details of this, as the delegates in the room made the point that attendee details were not required in all use cases. We instead currently plan to build this into a future version of the specification. Finally please do fill in our feedback form to help us improve, and let us know your thoughts: https://forms.gle/XajcuGHR1ShzPPLv7 Many thanks, Nick -- Nick Evans Associate & Sector Specialist Open Data Institute <http://theodi.org/> | +447813318661
