Re: Joining the group

Well, we've identified April 15 as a kind of "make or break" date.  That
is, if we have the required number of industry members the group will go
ahead at that time and officially form, and if not we'll give up then.  If
the group does actually form, of course you can join later.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure that I understand the second question.  If you are
asking whether you can participate in the group without accepting the CLA
(Contributor License Agreement), I think that the answer to that is, "No".
Moreover, if you do join part of the CLA is that you will respect the
confidentiality of the communications.  That means that you should not send
copies of these communications to people who are not part of the group and
have not accepted the CLA.

We do not currently have any firm dates agreed on past the April 15
deadline, but I assume that if the group does form we will be arranging
regular telcons.  At the last face-to-face there was a preference expressed
for bi-weekly telcons (that is, every other week), Tues, Wed or Thurs in
the morning (US time -- which would be afternoon in Europe or Russia).  In
addition, there were some tentative thoughts about arranging another
face-to-face meeting at SemTech 2012, which is in San Francisco June 3-7.
