Wrap up of the "what Rule subclassed my be defined by Profile" discussion

Hi all ODRL guys,

 

for more than a year this CG discussed how to deal with inconsistencies in
the definition of the Rules to be applied to an ODRL Policy on one hand and
the definition of what subclasses of Rule may be defined by Profile on the
other hand.

 

I think we have come to an agreed language in the last months and have
created a wrap-up:

I hope a majority of this group can agree.

 

In addition I want to announce that I will step down from the position of
co-chair of the ODRL Community Group, this co-chair position has to take
care for ODRL Profiles, therefore I edited the ODRL Profile Best Practices
<https://w3c.github.io/odrl/profile-bp>  document. Why I want to step down:
my aging body calls me to order.
