Community Talk by Emma Dawson: “Making interactions more accessible with focus management”

Join us for the second event in our 2024 series of talks hosted by the Nordic Accessibility Community Group!

I’m excited to have Emma Dawson share her insights on the importance of focus management in enhancing web accessibility; something that is all too often neglected on modern websites! This session is open to the public, so feel free to invite anyone interested in improving web accessibility.

In Emma's own words:
"Managing focus can allow us to provide better feedback to keyboard and screen reader users when things are added to and removed from webpages. Using several examples based on accessibility audit findings, I will talk about how to use focus management to improve accessibility."
