Nordic Accessibility Community Group: November Session

Hi, fellow members of the Nordic Accessibility Community Group.



We've skipped a month or two, but it's time again for us to gather and discuss accessibility in the Nordic countries.


What's in it for you?

The Nordic Accessibility Community Group is your network for discussing challenges and meeting with other digital accessibility professionals. It's local to the Nordic countries, making it more relevant to us than the larger American communities. In our regular sessions we meet to share knowledge, discuss obstacles, and may decide to work on changing the accessibility landscape for the better.



Meeting agenda:

  *   5 minutes: Tobias will present a few findings from his talks with Danish universities and business academies about getting accessibility on the curriculum.
  *   Roundtable format:
     *   We will take some time to add our thoughts to a shared format. Consider the following:
        *   Which challenges or obstacles do you experience when working with accessibility?
        *   What is holding you or others back from succeeding with ensuring accessibility?
        *   Does the current Community Group format work? What could we change?
     *   Then we will discuss in the group and make action items as we see fit.



While you don’t have to participate for the entirety of this meeting (feel free to join and leave when you have to), I hope many of you will come for this session and help take part in meaningful discussions and to see that we move in the right direction with the Community Group.
