WG update on current activities

Hello All,

Happy new year and best wishes for 2013.

We are still awaiting for several companies to join the working group and we cannot start the real technical team-work before getting enough members on board.

This being said, we already got two proposals that you can find here:
Tizen - based<http://w3c.github.com/nfc/proposals/intel/nfc.html> NFC API proposal.
Webinos - based<http://w3c.github.com/nfc/proposals/webinos/nfc.html> NFC API proposal.
So please, feel free to review and comment by using this public mailing list.

If you have a draft specification covering part or all of the charter's scope (http://www.w3.org/2012/09/nfc-wg-charter) that you would like the working group to publish as a First Public Working Draft, please, format your proposals as a W3C working drafts and use the W3C Document License following the process described on wiki:
http://www.w3.org/wiki/Near_field_communications_(NFC)

We count on you to reach very soon the critical mass for putting  this WG on tracks and for reaching our Milestones in time.
