Hi Jacques, Each year, W3C organizes a week long venue for working group meetings together with a plenary session. This provides an opportunity to network with people in other working groups and to create greater awareness of what work is going on. This year, the Technical Plenary (TPAC) will be in Shenzhen, China on 11-15 November. As the NFC Working Group Chair you are invited to fill out the questionnaire at: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/34786/ChairsTPAC2013/ The deadline for doing so is May 7th. Shenzhen is a long way to travel from Europe or North America, but this would also be a great opportunity to organize a session on the plenary day to showcase the NFC API on a variety of different devices and to explain the use cases that motivates the work. So I would suggest that we do have an NFC Working Group session at TPAC, and furthermore ask for it not to be scheduled at the same time as the System Applications Working Group. How does that sound? -- Dave Raggett <dsr@w3.org> http://www.w3.org/People/Raggett
