RE: [W3C NFC WG draft charter] including the interaction with a contactless card

Hello,

Regarding the current topic, we support the inclusion of the APDU format for the interaction with contactless cards. We would be interested to see the NFC card emulation mode in the scope of the current charter as we think it takes an important part of the use cases. It would be unfortunate to exclude payment or transportation of the scope of NFC. I can mention e.g.

- http://www.nfc-forum.org/aboutnfc/nfc_in_action/ which is mentioned in the NFC wiki (http://www.w3.org/wiki/Near_field_communications_%28NFC%29): APDU and card emulation are required for payment, transportation and couponing
- http://www.w3.org/wiki/Payments_Task_Force: existing payment services like Paypass, Oscar, Isis or Google Wallet, need at least APDU management

Thanks Virginie. Do you have a sketch or even better an implemented
design for an API for interacting with contactless cards using the APDU
format? Are any other companies interested in this?
