Dear Advisory Committee representatives,
Chairs,

The Director is pleased to announce the recharter of the Web & Networks Interest Group:
   https://www.w3.org/2021/04/web-networks-charter.html

This group is chartered until 30 April 2023.

The mission of the Web & Networks Interest Group is to explore solutions for web applications to leverage network capabilities and information in order to achieve better performance and resources allocation, both on the device and network.

Use the following form to join the group. The form will also instruct you how to nominate participants:
     https://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/115035/join

Please consider diversity when proposing people to participate in W3C groups. Representation from a wider group of people, especially people from under-represented groups, is vital for creating web standards that meet the needs of the wider web community.

Current participants will remain in this group and are not required to re-join.

The co-chairs are Dan Druta (AT&T), Sudeep Divakaran (Intel) and Song Xu (China Mobile). The Team contact is Dominique Hazael-Massieux (.1 FTE).

More information about the Web & Networks IG can be found on its homepage:
