Hi, The minutes of our teleconf today are available at: http://www.w3.org/2007/10/30-mwts-minutes.html linked from http://www.w3.org/2005/MWI/Tests/ and copied as text below. Dom Mobile Web Test Suites Working Group teleconf 30 Oct 2007 [2]Agenda [2] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-mwts/2007Oct/0012.html See also: [3]IRC log [3] http://www.w3.org/2007/10/30-mwts-irc Attendees Present Carmelo, Jenise, Wilhelm, Dom, dmitri Chair Dom Scribe dom Contents * [4]Topics 1. [5]OMA liaison work items 2. [6]NIST contributions 3. [7]mobile ACID test: * [8]Summary of Action Items _________________________________________________________ OMA liaison work items Dmitri: I've looked a bit in the SVG Tiny 1.2 test suite ... and looked at the OMA ETR document ... I have drafted a message for the SVG Working Group ... on which Dom commented ... I'll update the message and send it to the SVG group in a couple of hours ... as far as I understand, our future work depends on the current state of coverage report from the SVG Working Group ... if they have a complete coverage report or a complete set of test assertions, we can understand what features requirement from the OMA group has been tested ... if they don't (or only a high level report), we'll probably need to do the coverage analysis ourselves ... in which case, we'll need quite a bit of resources to do this ... I have a question, though: is the coverage report a requirement for test suites for working groups? Dom: no, it isn't unfortunately ... I doubt the SVG group will have a detailed report ... W3C groups rarely have enough resources for this Dmitri: in this case, what should we do? doing a full coverage report will require a lot of resources Dom: one solution would be to look at the SVG Tiny test suite, where I think the test cases names give a rough indication of what features are tested ... and compare that list of features to what the OMA would need Dmitri: the OMA divided their test requirements by features too, so it may help us do the job <scribe> ACTION: Dmitri to do a high-level coverage analysis of the SVG Tiny 1.2 [recorded in [9]http://www.w3.org/2007/10/30-mwts-minutes.html#action01] Dom: good work! Dmitri: I'll send the message to SVG WG after this meeting Carmelo: I contacted the the CSS Working Group about CSS MP 2.0 test suite ... I'll come up with a plan to fill the gaps between the WCSS and CSS MP, that I can present during the F2F Dom: re XHTML MP test suite, I sent a first corrected part of the test suite, based on the bug report I sent a few weeks ago to the oMA ... hopefully they can integrate it in their test suite without too much legal troubles NIST contributions -> [10]http://www.w3.org/2007/10/mwts-nist/ NIST test cases contributions [10] http://www.w3.org/2007/10/mwts-nist/ Carmelo: this is based on the XHTML MP test suite, to complete some holes in the forms module ... it isn't full coverage of the module, but it's already an improvement ... please have a look at it, and send us feedback (or we can look at that during the F2F) Dom: thanks for the contributions! ... I'll send feedback, have already a few comments to make mobile ACID test: -> [11]http://www.jwtmp.com/a/ mobile ACID test [11] http://www.jwtmp.com/a/ dom: [introduces the concept of ACID2 test as emulation, and how it applies to mobile] Wilhem: concepts sounds great; the implementation needs some refinements ... will send details by email Summary of Action Items [NEW] ACTION: Dmitri to do a high-level coverage analysis of the SVG Tiny 1.2 [recorded in [12]http://www.w3.org/2007/10/30-mwts-minutes.html#action01] [End of minutes]
