2nd Call for Contributions to Open Mobile Web Test Suite

Hello,

Back in July, the W3C Mobile Web Test Suites Working Group made a first
call contributions to its Open Mobile Web Test Suite:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-mwts/2007Jul/0020.html

If you're receiving this message (in BCC), it is as a follow up to the
survey the Mobile Web Test Suites Working Group conducted back in
February [1], and in which you expressed interest in contributing to
this effort to help understand better how mobile web user agents
available today react to various authoring practices.

Given the very limited contributions we have received so far, we're
launching this second call for contributions, hoping to get more of
these, and/or to hear whether the current contribution system is not
adapted to your needs.

Guidelines for test submissions can be found at:
http://www.w3.org/2005/MWI/Tests/Open/submission

Test cases can be submitted via a web interface located at:
http://www.w3.org/2005/MWI/Tests/Open/submit

Submissions requiring files greater than 10KB in size, should be submitted
via email to: member-mwts@w3.org

Test cases submitted to this framework will be reviewed by the Working
Group, and we will keep submitters in the loop while their submissions
are processed.

When we will have received a sufficient number of test cases, we plan to
release the selected test cases as part of a publicly available test
suite that will allow to collect test results through our test harness:
http://www.w3.org/2007/03/mth/harness

Any problems with the submission system should also be reported
our public mailing list at public-mwts@w3.org, or privately to
dom@w3.org if you don't want your email address to be publicly visible.

Sincerely,

For the Mobile Web Test Suites Working Group [2],
Carmelo Montanez and Dominique Hazael-Massieux, co-Chairs
