Hi Carmelo, As discussed yesterday, here are more details on our proposed work item on the CSS MP 2.0 test suite. The OMA has a test suite for WCSS: http://testfest.openmobilealliance.org/CSS_Content/index.html (with documentation at http://testfest.openmobilealliance.org/CSS_Content/CSS_Tests_V1_1_2006_05_10.doc ). WCSS is an OMA specification available at: http://www.openmobilealliance.org/release_program/docs/browsing/v2_2-20061020-a/oma-wap-wcss-v1_1-20061020-a.pdf WCSS is going to be replaced by CSS Mobile Profile 2.0, a draft of which is available at: http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-css-mobile-20071019/ CSS MP is generally speaking a superset of WCSS, although this may not always be exactly true. I offered to the OMA that we would help upgrading their WCSS test suite to cover CSS MP 2.0. To do so, I think the following needs to happen: * get in touch with the CSS Working Group to let them know of our intention to work on this item with the OMA, *based on the WCSS test suite* * analyse the differences between WCSS and CSS MP 2.0 * define a plan for building the test cases that are needed to complete the WCSS test suite to make it cover a greater chunk of CSS MP 2.0 Let me know if this clarifies what needs to be done. Thanks, Dom
