Mapping of OMA Requirements 26 to 35 - Action Item

All:

One of my Action items from the face to face 
meeting was to evaluate the mapping of the 
requirements 26 through 35 of the OMA test 
Requirements of the SVG Mobile Domain document.  Please find my report below.

1)      SVGMD-26 – Timed Animation – This 
requirement maps to section 17 of the Mobile SVG 
specifications.  Details at:

2)      SVGMD-27 – Support for Audio – No obvious 
mapping was found for audio support.

3)      SVGMD -28 – Support Video – No obvious 
mapping was found for video support.  However 
some parts of the animation support may apply 
here. SVG Tiny also have an image module that may apply as well.

4)      SVGMD -30 – Support for animation 
(external resources) – The Animation Module on 
SVG Tiny provides a mapping for this.  Details

5)      SVGMD -31 – Support for Compression – No 
particular mapping was found for compression.

6)      SVGMD -32 – Support for external resource 
– The External Resource Attribute Modules 
provides on SVG Basic provides a mapping for this

.  Many other modules do provide access to external resources.

7)      SVGMD -33 – Support for Performance 
Improvements – No obvious mapping for performance improvements was found.

8)      SVGMD -34 – Support for Graphics Hints – 
No particular mapping was found for Graphics 
Hints.  However there are a number of modules that provides graphical mappings.

9)      SVGMD -35 – Support for SMIL Interface on 
uDOM – Support for SVG Mobile DOM can be found
