Hi All, My name is Dmitri Silaev. The surname historically has been written in French transcription. My short name is Dima that is shortening for Dmitri. It is sound as [dima] in spite of the strange spelling. I am from St.Petersburg, Russia. For the ten years I work on the conformance test suites for Technology Compatibility Kits (TCK) for different Java platforms and profiles. I joined Sun Microsystems in 1997 as contractor and worked on compatibility testing of Java 1.1.X. For the long period we contributes in production of many version of J2SE from 1.2 to 5.0. The 2005th year was the year I've promoted as Sun Microsystems employee. And in 2006 I've joined Micro Edition TCK group and now I work with different JSR's that are parts of Java ME platform. Recently I've involved into the production of JSR 290 (CDF) as TCK leader and our team has deal with SVG, XHTML, tests suites. I believe this work is very similar to the scope and the deliverables of MWI Test Suites Working Group and due to this fact I've decided to join this working group. I hope this helps to create the good test suite in scope of current activity. It is my first experience in participation in W3C group. So, please correct me if some my actions will be differ from generally accepted. Thanks, Dima. http://www.jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=290 http://java.sun.com/javame/index.jsp http://www.sun.com/
