SYMPOSIUM SCOPE *************** Wireless communications is a primary solution to delivering broadband services to rural communities. The theme of this symposium is on both new, innovative technical research as well as on the delivery of practical technical solutions in often harsh environments. We are inviting your contribution to one of the technical topics of WCITD 2008 and we welcome you to participate in the symposium. Your contribution will go through the normal reviewing process associated with a quality symposium. At the same time the organisers will invite industry persons who have made significant contributions in the field to present their technical solutions to practical problems. The authors of the best papers will be invited to write an extended version for possible publication in International Journal of Information Communication and Technology Education.
