Hi! While attempting to arrange some pieces for the solo flute, I noticed that SMuFL doesn't seem to define the "accent" notehead which is a common way to indicate pizzicato/"slap tongue" technique in many modern pieces. I am aware of a few other ways to notate slap tongue, but the accent notehead is the method I have encountered the most. What would be the process for suggesting that this notehead be added to SMuFL? For clarity, here are a few examples of slap tongue notation using the accent notehead. You may note that, unfortunately, there seem to be many inconsistencies in how different engravers choose to format it: https://i.imgur.com/XYmlZ3G.jpg https://i.imgur.com/UZoi0mq.png https://i.imgur.com/QxcDYzI.png https://i.imgur.com/8V5mHaH.png It's worth noting that along with this notehead, there are a few other ways people have chosen to notate this technique, including an accent mark drawn through the note's stem and a circle with a slash drawn through the note's stem, though these methods seem to be much less common. Thanks! Katie Wolfe
