Hi group, You may have noticed some unfamiliar names for bits of MNX in Michael's email about the proposed agenda yesterday. Yes... these are new names. A number of folks have pointed out that the current acronyms "GMNX" and "CWMNX" are unwieldy and confusing, and have proposed some alternatives in https://github.com/w3c/mnx/issues/74, one of which the chairs like quite a lot - in this approach, the above are renamed to "MNX-Gen" and "MNX-CW" respectively. It is quite a lot easier and clearer to have "MNX-your-favorite-flavor" as opposed to "YFFMNX" and the like :-) However, #74 is still open and under active review, so please do feel free to opine in that discussion. The new names are not permanent... you will just see us using them, perhaps a bit prematurely! Best, . . . . . ...Joe Joe Berkovitz Risible, LLC
