Interesting project!  However, you should be aware there is a much larger
initiative going on right now to do the same sort of thing but to really
focus on correctness by hand-inputting the music.  See https://openscore.cc/.
This initiative is supported by IMSLP, MuseScore, and others.  You might
consider redirecting your efforts towards this project rather than starting
your own.
