Dear W3C Music Notation Community Group members, The election for replacing the Community Group’s current Charter <https://www.w3.org/community/music-notation/wiki/Group_Charter> with an updated Charter <https://www.w3.org/community/music-notation/wiki/Proposed_Charter_Update> begins today and continues through 23:00 UTC on 9 January 2022. To cast your vote for or against the charter update, please go to the Charter Election <https://www.w3.org/community/music-notation/wiki/Charter_Election> page on the group wiki. Once you are at the election page: If you don’t see any “Edit” options, log in to your W3C account by clicking “Log in” in the upper right corner of the page. You created a W3C account when joining the Music Notation Community Group. Click on the “edit” link in the appropriate Votes section to add your Yes or No vote. Please put your name on a separate line in the bulleted list. If you find you cannot log into your W3C account or have other problems editing the wiki page to cast your vote, you may also cast your vote on this public-music-notation-contrib mailing list. One of the co-chairs will then transfer your vote to the wiki election page. Please do try to vote on the wiki if you can, so we can avoid extra traffic on this mailing list. Thank you for your participation in this election. Charter updates require a 2/3 majority of votes cast in the election to be approved. Best regards, Michael Good, Adrian Holovaty, and Daniel Spreadbury W3C Music Notation Community Group Co-Chairs
