The co-chairs met yesterday to discuss the MNX issues under active review. You can see the issues under active review here: https://github.com/w3c/mnx/labels/Active%20Review Issue #50 has now moved to "PR Review" as we have arrived at a consensus view on that issue. Anybody who wishes to provide feedback on that pull request can still do so. For the remaining four issues under active review: 1. Distinguish directions that are not scoped to any particular sequence (#32): we believe that this can be closed, and invite any further feedback from the community before we do so. 2. How should directions be positioned metrically? (#6): we have made a proposal to resolve this issue, and invite feedback. 3. Should global (system) notations be interspersed within regular parts? (#2): we have made a proposal ( https://github.com/w3c/mnx/issues/2#issuecomment-367061034) and there has already been further discussion, but we continue to welcome any more feedback. Finally, concerning issue #25 (altMNX: An alternative to the CWMNX+GMNX proposal), the co-chairs have posted a response inviting feedback from other members of the community: https://github.com/w3c/mnx/issues/25#issuecomment-367339680 The co-chairs propose that this issue be closed; we understand James Ingram's (@notator) position, but we now need other members in the community to provide input and have a chance to speak on this subject. Thanks very much for your participation in this process so far. We believe we are well on the way to resolving this first round of issue review.
